&#9679; Funeral services for Roland Joe Penner, 60, were held Monday afternoon at the Peterson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edmund J. Miller, pastor of the Grace Hill Mennonite Church, officiating. Mr. Penner, a resident here most of his life, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, Nov. 20. He was a former employee of American Flour Mills. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Charlein Banfield of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Cyrill Dean of Colorado Springs; four sisters, Mrs. Francis Sheridan of Newton, Mrs. Hulda Wright of North Hollywood, Calif., Mrs. Orpha Swift of Fullerton, Calif., and Mrs. Ralph Brown of Hazelton, Ida.; three brothers, John, Ben and Carl, all of Newton; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
