Nettie Wiens Neufeld, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Warkentin Wiens, was born July 22, 1879, on a farm in Marion county, Kansas. Here she spent her childhood days with her parents and also received her elementary schooling. | |||
With her parents, she attended the Ebenfeld M. B. church and grew up under the ministry of Elder John Foth. As a young girl she recognized her need of a Saviour and accepted Jesus Christ into her life. She was baptized by Elder Foth and united for fellowship with the Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren church. She was a conscientious Christian and sought to be faithful unto her Lord even as a young woman. | |||
July 23, 1911, she was united in holy matrimony with Isaac Neufeld at Fairview, Oklahoma. With this very important step she assumed the responsibility of becoming a mother to seven children who had lost their mother one year earlier. As children, we are grateful to her for all that she has done for us and for our father. Father preceded her in death in February 1954. | |||

NETTIE WIENS NEUFELD
Nettie Wiens Neufeld, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Warkentin Wiens, was born July 22, 1879, on a farm in Marion county, Kansas. Here she spent her childhood days with her parents and also received her elementary schooling.
