Hilda C. Shaum, 75, of Hesston, a deaconess at Bethel Deaconess Hospital for many years, died Oct. 28 at Newton Medical Center. Funeral services were held Oct. 31 at Hesston Mennonite Church. Phillip Bedsworth and Paul Friesen officiated. Survivors include one son, Earl, of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Ada of Indianaopolis, Ind., Esther of Richmond, Ind., and Mary Alice Whittaker of Rocky Ford, Colo.; one brothers, J. H. Mueller of Halstead; three sisters, Amelia Mueller of Halstead, Elfriede Stucky of Moundridge and Doris Ewy of Halstead; five grandchildren. Her husband, Charles, preceded her in death in 1973.

Hilda C. Shaum, 75, of Hesston, a deaconess at Bethel Deaconess Hospital for many years, died Oct. 28 at Newton Medical Center. Funeral services were held Oct. 31 at Hesston Mennonite Church. Phillip Bedsworth and Paul Friesen officiated. Survivors include one son, Earl, of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Ada of Indianaopolis, Ind., Esther of Richmond, Ind., and Mary Alice Whittaker of Rocky Ford, Colo.; one brothers, J. H.
