&#9679; Funeral services were held Dec. 12 at Tabor Mennonite Church near Goessel for Clara Unruh, 82, of Goessel. Ray Hurst officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. She died Dec. 9 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital, Newton. She had lived in Goessel since 1980, when she moved from Hesston. Survivors include two sons, Leroy D. of Bone Terri, Mo., and Eldon of DeSoto; one daughter, Adelyn Smith of Newton; one sister, Hulda Frey of Newton; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband, Peter A., preceded her in death in 1971.
