Accident Claims Life of So. Dakota Youth

Freeman, S. D. – A one-car accident near Frankfort, S. D. the morning of Nov. 19 claimed the life of Leland John Hofer, 22, of Huron. He was an active member of the Bethel M. B. Church of Yale.

Mr. Hofer was reared on a farm northeast of Yale. He was a graduate of Bancroft High School, where he was salutatorian of his class, and last spring graduated from Huron College. At the time of his death he was employed by the Armour Company in Huron.

Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Hofer, and one sister, Mrs. Delano Gross.
