LOCAL
— Funeral services held at the Tabor church at Goessel last Sunday afternoon for Edwin Schmidt, son of C. J. Schmidt, who was killed in an auto accident last week, were very largely attended. Edwin had been out for a drive in his car, taking with him one of his special friends, a son of Peter Flaming. In some unexplained way the car turned over, and Edwin received severe injuries which caused his death shortly afterward.
