Mt. Lake, Minn. -- Funeral services for Jacob F. Eitzen, 79, prominent retired businessman here, were held Jan. 6 at the Bethel Mennonite Church. Rev. Harris Waltner, the pastor, officiated. Mr. Eitzen died unexpectedly Jan. 3 in a Mankato hospital.

A native of Watonwan County, he was in the telephone business here for 51 years, retiring in 1973. He began employment with the North Star Telephone Co. here in 1922 as a lineman and night operator. He was named manager of the company in 1926, was in partnership in the firm for 16 years and sole owner for 14 years.

Mt. Lake, Minn. — Funeral services for Jacob F. Eitzen, 79, prominent retired businessman here, were held Jan. 6 at the Bethel Mennonite Church. Rev. Harris Waltner, the pastor, officiated. Mr. Eitzen died unexpectedly Jan. 3 in a Mankato hospital.
