Archbold, Ohio.  --- Funeral services were conducted at the Lockport Mennonite Church on Oct 10 for Joseph D. Eicher, Jr., 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Eicher who died Sunday morning, Oct. 7, of injuries received in a highway accident some hours earlier.

The youth was en route from Archbold to his home near Stryker when he apparently went to sleep at the wheel.  Tire marks showed the car went from one side of the road to the other, struck a hole, and then overturned in a corn field.  The critically injured youth was not found until morning and died several hours after being admitted to the hospital in Wauseon.  Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Charles Frost, and his grandmother, Mrs. Emma Fetters.
