Gideon Schrock, 94, of Marilla, died Sept. 10. Survivors: wife, Barbara; three daughters, a son, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was the first Amishman to move to western New York in 1920. At age 20 he began working on a farm his father bought in Akron before the rest of his family from Indiana joined him.
