■ Herbert Schroeder Sr., 83, a retired farmer and dairyman, died Nov. 12 at Bethesda Home in Goessel. Services were held at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel. Survivors include his wife, Bertha; two daughters, Judy Tomlonson of Warrensburg, Mo., and Mary Jones of Newton; a brother, Rudy of rural Hillsboro; a sister, Lydia Kasper of Hillsboro; four grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Herbie Jr., on Jan. 2, 1994.
