'''MRS. FRED AESCHLIMAN,''' nee Rosa Rubin, was born in Canton Bern, Switzerland, August 15, 1861, and died February 21, 1944. She was married to Fred Aeschliman in 1882. They came to America in 1885 and made their home near Pulaski, Iowa, for several years. In 1887 they moved to Whitman County, Washington. In 1893 they became charter members of the First Mennonite  Church, near Colfax. She is mourned by her husband and the following children: Lou F., Will, Ed., Sam, Ira, and John, and Mrs. Walter Buri, all of Colfax, and Mrs. Elmer Widmer of Albany, Oregon.
