&#8212;  Mendelssohn Amstutz, 49, a member of the Grace Mennonite church at Pandora, Ohio, died there Tuesday morning, Nov. 16, after a long illness.  It had been Mr. Amstutz' aim to enter the ministry but illness interfered with his plans shortly after his graduation from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1931.  Rev. Forrest Musser, his pastor, was in charge of the funeral services.

'''R. MENDELSSOHN AMSTUTZ,''' son of Peter D. and Helena Steiner Amstutz, died at Pandora, Ohio, November 16, 1943, at the age of forty-nine after a lengthy illness of cardia asthma. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Melvina Burry of Pandora, and Mrs. Hilda Thomas of Chatham, New Jersey. Mr. Amstutz was a graduate of Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pa. He also completed a theological course at Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas, Texas.
