Bauman. – Am 15. Dezember 1885 starb Johannes Bauman in Douglas, Township, Pa. Er war geboren den 4. August 1804, trat in den Stand der heiligen Ehe im October 1826 mit Katharina Bauer. Sein Alter war 81 Jahre, 4 Monate und 11 Tage. Am Hause sprach am 21. Dezember Br. J. Meschter, und Br. W. Gottschall sprach das Gebet. Am Versammlungshause predigte Br. M. Gottschall, und Br. W. Gottschall und C. van der Smissen nahmen Theil. Er hinterläßt eine trauernde Wittwe und acht Kinder, von denen jedoch das älteste sterbenskrank ist.
