Narvon, Pa.—An accident on Highway 340 new White Horse the evening of April 3 resulted in instant death for Mrs. Mary Stoltzfus, 45, wife of Pre. Amos E. Stoltzfus of the Amish church. The couple were walking home from a singing at a neighbor's house when they were hit by a car which was passing another vehicle. Mrs. Stoltzfus was thrown about 50 feet and her husband suffered fractures of the skull and one knee. Pre. Stoltzfus was unable to attend his wife's funeral, which was held on April 5. Surviving in addition to the widower are eight children, all at home, and her mother, Mrs. Fannie Fisher. Her father, Amos Fisher, was killed on a highway some years ago.
