• Funeral services for Lucinda Overholt, 91, were held April 13 at the Meridian Mennonite Church near Hesston, with Rev. Harry Wenger and Rev. Eldon Wenger in charge. Miss Overholt died April 10 at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge. A native of the Hesston community, she was employed for about 50 years at the Waconda Springs Sanitarium where she was a cook and did other work. For the past 10 years she had been living with relatives at Hesston, entering the Schmidt Nursing Home at Moundridge in February of this year. | |||
