Goshen, Ind. — Four persons were killed and an Ohio brother and sister injured in a headon collision on US-20 east of Middlebury on April 9.
Dead are Mrs. Michael Lee Fick, 25, of Goshen, her two children, Chad, 3, and Michelle, 2, and Mrs. Arthea Renner, 19, of rural Syracuse. Susan J. Nyce, 17, and her brother William J., 8, children of Dr. and Mrs. Robert W. Nyce of Fayette, Ohio, were treated for their injuries at Goshen Hospital and released.
It was not immediately determined what caused the cars driven by Mrs. Fick and Mitt Nyce to collide, but it is thought a third car may have been indirectly involved. Miss Nyce was on the way to Goshen to pick up her sister, a student at Goshen College.
