• George P. Dirksen, 81, a resident of the Bethesda Home at Goessel since 1967, died at the Bethesda Hospital on Monday morning. A native of the Canton area, he at one time operated a creamery at Henderson, Neb. moving to Wichita in 1938 where he engaged in carpentry work. He was a brother of Mrs. J. S. Thiessen of rural Newton and was a member of the Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church, Wichita. The funeral is to be held Thursday afternoon at the Miller Funeral Home in Goessel with Rev.
