• Jacob D. Stucky, 80, who farmed near McPherson most of his life, died Feb. 19 at the Memorial Hospital there after a brief illness. He was a member of the Hopefield Church, where the funeral was conducted Thursday afternoon. Rev. Andrew Shelly, the pastor, and Rev. Leroy Stucky officiated. Mr. Stucky’s wife, Mary, died in 1947.
