ANDREW JACOB LOEWEN
Andrew Jacob Loewen passed away on October 20. He was born to Jacob and Anna Loewen on November 10, 1907 in Fuerstenau, Russia. In 1925 he immigrated to Canada with his parents. He lived briefly in northern Ontario and at Fannystelle, Man. before moving to the Moore Park (Man.) district in 1929. He married Tina Steingard on February 22,1931. They farmed at Moore Park until retiring to Brandon in 1977. For many years he attended the Justice Mennonite Brethren Church, but it was only in the last weeks of his life that he accepted Christ as Saviour and was able to pass away at peace with God. He is survived by his wife Tina; children and spouses: Henry and Elizabeth of Vermilion, Alta., Anne and John Krueger of Brandon, William and Susan of Moore Park, Rudy and Roberta of Marchwell, Sask., Susan and Alvin Enns of Hepburn, Sask., Helen and Victor Hi e bert of Plum Coulee, Linda and Robert Penner, and Mary Rose, of Winnipeg; 27 grandchildren, one brother and one sister. The funeral was held in the Richmond Park (Brandon) MB Church with son Henry and son-in-law Alvin Enns officiating.
