June Harvey died Apr. 8. She was born Mar.
21, 1920 in London, England to Harvey Cross
and Molly Delaney. The family moved to
Canada. June's parents later returned to
England. June also returned to care for her
mother until her death. During World War
II, June joined the Air Force. She married
her Canadian penpal Jack Harvey and they
settled in Woodstock, Onto They spent their
senior years near Port Rowan, Ont., where
they attended a weekly Bible study. June was
baptized and joined Port Rowan (Ont.) MB
Church in 1988. Jack died in 1994. June was a
jolly, pleasant person and doting mother and
grandmother. She spent many hours produc-
ing beautiful oil paintings. Her last years were
spent in Parkwood Hospital in London, Ont.
Predeceased by son Gary, 3 siblings; she is
mourned by daughters Lorraine (George)
Bloomfield, Valerie (Tom) Durston, and
Charlene (Kim) Brown; stepson Wayne (Kay)
Mutch; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; 1
sister. The funeral was Apr. 11 at Port Rowan
MB Church.
