ANNIE REDEKOPP

Annie Redekopp (nee Boldt) died Nov. 27, 2007. She was born May 4, 1918 in Russia. Her family immigrated to Canada in 1928, settling in Grand Prairie, Alta., where they cleared the land to build their first homestead. Annie attended Bible school in B.C. and in 1951 met and married David Redekopp, settling in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. They became members at Virgil MB Church, now Cornerstone Community Church, where she was very involved in the ladies group and quilting for MCC In 1991, David died, and after a series of strokes, Annie moved to Heritage Place (Pleasant Manor) in Virgil. She is mourned by her children David Jr., Helen, and Katie; grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter. The memorial service was Nov. 30 at Cornerstone Community Church.
