WALDEMAR (WALLY) MANDAU

Waldemar (Wally) Mandau died Aug. 15, 2007 from a heart attack. He was born Nov. 9,1938 in Sendykowczyzna, Poland to Michael and Wanda Mandau. After losing his father in World War II, his family moved to Drake, Sask. He accepted Jesus as Saviour, and was baptized at 18 at Philadelphia MB Church. Wally moved to St. Catharines, Ont. and began a career as a counsellor at Bethesda Home. In 1971 he married Anne Janzen. Living out his faith in practical ways was important to him. He taught Sunday school for 27 years at Scott st. MB Church. Wally will be remembered as a loving and compassionate man, full of gentle strength and great faith. He is mourned Anne; children Rodney and Nancy; 5 grandchildren. The memorial service was Aug. 20 at Scott St. MB Church.
