EVA KLASSEN

Eva Klassen of Herbert, Sask., passed away May 18 . She was born in Alexander-

tal, Russia on September 7, 1891. The family immigrated to Canada in 1913 and settled in the Maple Creek area of Saskatchewan. Mrs. Klassen accepted the Lord in 1910 and was baptized in 1911. She married Peter I. Klassen of Kelstern, Sask . in 1914 and together they farmed until 1947 when they retired to the town of Herbert. Mrs. Klassen was active in MCC work for five years and was president of the Ladies Aid for many years . After her husband passed away, she resided at the Herbert Senior Citizens' Home. She was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1975 and by one daughter Eva in 1924, as well as by one sister, two brothers and one grandson.
