Robert Smith of St. Catharines, Ont
passed away on April 9. He was 43 years old.
He worked as a refrigeration engineer for the
City of St. Catharines for 27 years. He accepted Christ as his Saviour, and he and his
wife Linda attended the Fairview Mennonite
Brethren Church in St. Catharines. He was
"blessed with the
ability to make
people laugh, a
contagious smile
and outgoing personality" which
"enriched the lives
of people he touch-
ed." He died after a
three-month illness. He is survived by his wife Linda; four sons from
a previous marriage, Danny, Randy, Tim and Jaimie; his
mother Emily Bennett Smith (his father
John died in 1965); brothers Charles , Jack
and Raymond and sisters Dorothy (Mrs.
William) Gill and (Mrs .) Lillian Gagne, all of
St. Catharines. The funeral took place on April 12 at the Fairview MB Church.

ROBERT GORDON SMITH

Robert Smith of St. Catharines, Ont passed away on April 9. He was 43 years old. He worked as a refrigeration engineer for the City of St. Catharines for 27 years. He accepted Christ as his Saviour, and he and his wife Linda attended the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church in St. Catharines. He was "blessed with the ability to make people laugh, a contagious smile and outgoing personality" which "enriched the lives of people he touch- ed." He died after a three-month illness. He is survived by his wife Linda; four sons from a previous marriage, Danny, Randy, Tim and Jaimie; his mother Emily Bennett Smith (his father John died in 1965); brothers Charles , Jack and Raymond and sisters Dorothy (Mrs. William) Gill and (Mrs .) Lillian Gagne, all of St. Catharines. The funeral took place on April 12 at the Fairview MB Church.
