rial service was Nov. 9 at Broadway MB Church.

MARY HIEBERT


Mary Hiebert died peacefully Nov. 5 She was born Feb. 8, 1920 in Waldheim, Russia to John and Mary Voth. Her family immigrated to Canada in 1926 and settled in the Newton Siding area, Man. In 1935, they moved to Readymade, Alta. At 18, Mary made a public profession of her personal faith in Jesus Christ in baptism and joined Coaldale MB Church. She married Rudolph Hiebert Aug. 3, 1941. The family moved to Chilliwack, B.C. in 1946. Mary and Rudolph attended East Chilliwack MB Church until they became charter members of Broadway MB Church in 947. They sang in the German choir and were on the catering committee for many years. Mary was an industrious homemaker. She and Rudolph moved to a condo in 1986. Mary lived the last two years of her life in Chilliwack Life- styles.
