EVA SCHARTNER

Eva Schartner died July 21. She was born Nov. 26, 1918 in Swalwell, Alta. She married Tobe Schartner Aug. 2, 1938. Eva was a homemaker and mother. When Tobe gave his life to Jesus, he anxiously shared his experience with Eva. Realizing her need for the Lord, Eva followed in Tobe's footsteps. The family lived in Three Hills, Alta. while Tobe attended Prairie Bible Institute and then served on staff. In 1971, they moved to Kelowna, B.C., where they stayed until 1996, when they returned to Linden. Predeceased by Tobe; 16 siblings; she is mourned by sons Dellan (Edith), Ray (Vivian), Tim (Ida), and Randy (Jewel); daughters Alma-Jean (Bud) Peters, Dawn (John) Sparreboom; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 brother.
