Archbold, Ohio. &#8212; An unusual accident recently claimed the life of Gary L. Oyer, 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Oyer of rural Archbold.
 
Young Oyer was employed in Rufenacht's Sanitation and Refuse Service, Archbold, and was loading materials into a truck in Wauseon when he reached into the mouth of the truck's compactor to retrieve a plank.  Fellow employees said he apparently tripped the starting lever by accident, and he was crushed by the compactor.

Archbold Youth Dies In Unusual Accident

Archbold, Ohio. — An unusual accident recently claimed the life of Gary L. Oyer, 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Oyer of rural Archbold.
