Mrs. Sarah Willems, daughter of Jacob and Katherina (Regehr) Willems, was born near Buhler, Kan. on April 23, 1883, and passed away at South Hospital, Hutchinson, Kan., on Sept. 14, 1974 at the age of 91.
 
On April 28, 1900 she married Henry G. Willems.  For a short time they made their home at Hooker, Okla., but soon returned to the Buhler community where they remained lifelong residents.
 
She was baptized in the Hooker Mennonite Brethren Church on May 4, 1907.  On May 28, 1916 she transferred her membership to the Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church where she remained a faithful member until her death.
 
Those remaining to mourn her passing are two sons, Jacob E. Williams and wife Vera of Portland, Ore. and Irvin D. Williams and wife Stella of Vancouver, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Ben (Margaret) Kim and husband of Longview, Wash.; four grandsons, four granddaughters, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
 
Those preceding her in death were all of her brothers and sisters; her husband; a son, Henry T. Williams; and two daughters, Mrs. David A. (Elizabeth) Martens, and Mary, in infancy. &#8212; The Family.
