Youth Drowns
Elmira, Ont. — Ephraim Frey, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Frey of rural Mount Forest, drowned Sunday afternoon, July 28, at the Woolwich dam and reservoir near here, just hours after he had been baptized at the Old Order Mennonite Church.
Frey went swimming with 13 other youths, all of whom had been baptized that morning.
Funeral services were held at the Spring Creek Mennonite Meeting House, Mount Forest, on July 31.
