• Funeral services for Willard G. Rodgers, 77, of Route 1, Hesston, were held Saturday afternoon at the Whitestone Mennonite church with Rev. Jerry Weaver in charge. A native and lifelong resident of the Hesston community, Mr. Rodgers died Aug. 14 at Axtell Christian Hospital, Newton. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his widow, Evelyn, of the home; three step-daughters, Mrs. Dixie Rowe of Norton, Mrs. Marjorie Stucky of Olpe, and Mrs. Gloria Harper of Newton; three step-sons, Charles Scott of San Diego, Calif., Vernon Scott Jr. of Cuba, and Daniel Scott of Walton; a brother, Geo. l. Rodgers of Newton; and 16 step-grandchildren. | |||
