● Graveside services were held Dec. 1 at Goessel Mennonite Church for Mrs. Esther H. Bargen, 85, who died in Newton on Nov. 28. She was a member of the Bethel College Mennonite Church. Survivors include sons Eldon K. of North Newton, Ralph K. of Chicago and a daughter, Joyce (Mrs. Paul) Koehn of Concordia, Kan., and eight grandchildren.
