The son, a teacher and assistant minister in Winnipeg, his wife and two children were en route to visit the parents over Christmas when they encountered the fatal accident. The mother became ill after learning of her son's death, and died on Christmas Day. | |||

Joint Services Held For Mother and Son At Rosthern Church
Rosthern, Sask. — A joint funeral service was held at the Rosthern Mennonite Church for Mrs. Jacob F. Harder, 62, and her son, Johann Harder, 33, who was killed in a highway accident on Dec. 22 near Elstow, Sask.
The son, a teacher and assistant minister in Winnipeg, his wife and two children were en route to visit the parents over Christmas when they encountered the fatal accident. The mother became ill after learning of her son's death, and died on Christmas Day.
