&bull; Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Oct. 19, at the Buhler M. B. Church for Jacob A. Peters, 88, who died Oct. 16 at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge after a long illness. The services were conducted by Rev. Nick Rempel. Mr. Peters was a retired farmer and long-time Buhler resident. His wife, Katie, died on June 1 of this year. Surviving are sons Abe and Jake of Buhler, Ernest of Medora, Frank of Hillsboro and Menno of Enid, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Lester Hagen of Denver and Mrs. Sam Penner of Medora; four brothers, and two sisters, 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
