— Funeral services for John P. Zimmerman, 79, a resident of Schowalter Villa at Hesston since 1968, were held Dec. 3 at the West Liberty Mennonite Church northwest of Inman, with Rev. Edward Birkey and Rev. James Hershberger officiating. Mr. Zimmerman died at the Villa on Nov. 30 after a brief illness. A retired farmer and carpenter, he lived in the Conway community most of his life. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Prof. Lester Zimmerman of Goshen College and Dale of Inman; two daughters, Mrs. Gene Sprunger of Berne, Ind. and Mrs. Nellie Miller of Protection; 16 grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters.
