<center><h3>Three Members Called Away in Death</h3></center>
 
Freeman, S. D. — Three members of the large Salem Mennonite Church near here were called by death within a few days’ time.
 
Ed J. Ries, 60, who farmed near here for many years, died Nov. 25 after having suffered from leukemia for several months.
 
On Thanksgiving Day Mrs. Reinhardt Preheim, 48, died at the Sioux Valley Hospital where she was receiving treatment for a brain tumor. She and her husband farmed in the Marion community for 25 years.
 
Paul Kaufman, 74, suffered a fatal heart attack Monday morning, Nov. 30, while doing chores at his farm.
