Corn, Okla. &#8212; Funeral services for Rev. Alfred [''sic'' Albert] G. Schmidt, 74, retired minister, were held at the Herold Mennonite Church, Cordell, on the afternoon of Sept. 26.  Rev. John Arn, the pastor, officiated.
 
Rev. Schmidt had been in failing health after suffering a stroke seven years ago.  Since January 1971 he and his wife had been residents of the Corn Home for Aged, where he died on Sept. 24.  He was a former administrator of the Home.
 
A resident of Oklahoma most of his life, Rev. Schmidt was ordained to the ministry in 1935 at the Sichar Mennonite Church, Cordell.  He served in the ministry at the Sichar Church and also at Shafter, Calif., Medford, Okla., and Carnegie, Okla.  He also served at the Oklahoma Bible Academy, Meno.

Retired Minister Called by Death

Corn, Okla. — Funeral services for Rev. Alfred [sic Albert] G. Schmidt, 74, retired minister, were held at the Herold Mennonite Church, Cordell, on the afternoon of Sept. 26. Rev. John Arn, the pastor, officiated.
