Amish Minister Dies at Age 90

Goshen, Ind. — John E. Miller, 90, a long-time minister in the Amish church, died Sept. 16 at the home of a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Slabach, near Nappanee.

Min. Miller was ordained to the ministry in the Old Order Amish Church in 1913. His wife of nearly 65 years died in 1970. His large family of survivors includes three daughters, one son, 58 grandchildren, and 221 great-grandchildren.
