John Z. Wagler, 92, died at Brunner Nursing Home on Sept. 16. He was a member of Mapleview Mennonite Church where he was ordained a deacon in 1923. Rev. Jacob Roes conducted a memorial service from the church near Wellesley on Sept. 18. Surviving are one son, a daughter and a grandson.

Lyle Bruce Gerber, 13, son of Elmer and Mary (Albrecht) Gerber of rural Milverton, died Sept. 26. In addition to his parents, he is survived by four brothers and two sisters. Rev. Anthony Materick conducted the service from the home on Sept. 29. Interment was made in Poole Mennonite Cemetery.
