PETER SCHELLENBERG
Peter Schellenberg died June 15. He was born Nov. 20, 1915 in Herbert, Sask. to Jacob and Maria Schellenberg. The family moved to Carnduff, Waldheim and Hepburn, Sask. He married Rubena in 1937. They moved to Trail and Castlegar, B.C. He worked at various jobs until 1942 when they moved to a farm near Hepburn. They both accepted the Lord and were baptized at Hepburn. A short stint in Ontario was followed by a move to Waldheim where he worked as a mechanic and fire chief. He loved studying the Bible and taught Sunday school many years. Predeceased by daughters Deanna and Julia, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, he is mourned by Rubena; sons Dennis, Wayne, Jim; daughters Marilyn Hamelin, Arlene Klassen; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters. The funeral was June 19 in Waldheim MB Church.
