Kidron, Ohio. — Funeral services were held Aug. 15 at the Kidron Mennonite Church for Rev. Isaac Zuercher, 78, a retired minister of the congregation who was fatally injured in a highway accident the morning of Aug. 12. Officiating at the services were Rev. Bill Detweiler, Rev. Reuben Hostetler and Rev. Stanford Mumaw. | |||
Rev. Zuercher was traveling alone on US 30 near Riceland when he attempted a left turn and his car was hit by an oncoming vehicle. The five persons in the other car were injured. Rev. Zuercher died later in the day at a Barberton hospital. | |||
A native of the community Rev. Zuercher was ordained to the ministry of the Kidron Church in 1937. He retired from ministerial work eight years ago. During his lifetime he also engaged in farming and worked as a carpenter-cabinet maker. | |||

Retired Ohio Minister Fatally Injured in Highway Accident
Kidron, Ohio. — Funeral services were held Aug. 15 at the Kidron Mennonite Church for Rev. Isaac Zuercher, 78, a retired minister of the congregation who was fatally injured in a highway accident the morning of Aug. 12. Officiating at the services were Rev. Bill Detweiler, Rev. Reuben Hostetler and Rev. Stanford Mumaw.
Rev. Zuercher was traveling alone on US 30 near Riceland when he attempted a left turn and his car was hit by an oncoming vehicle. The five persons in the other car were injured. Rev. Zuercher died later in the day at a Barberton hospital.
