— A message was received here Monday morning that Laurel T. Schrock, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Titus W. Schrock of Des Moines, Iowa, was killed Sunday in a one-car accident near Des Moines. The Schrock family lived in Newton for about three years in the late 1950s when Mr. Schrock was engaged in the insurance business here. Surviving in addition to the parents are two brothers, Lincoln of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Arlen of North Manchester, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Ronald Elliott of Silver Springs, Md. and Daria of the home; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Shetler of Goshen, Ind. The funeral was to be held Tuesday evening at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen. The parents are both natives of the Goshen community.
