TINA WALL

TIna Wall died Aug. 22. She was born Oct. 26, 1908 in Tokmak, Ukraine to Abraham and Helena Wall. She enjoyed Sunday school, particularly the singing. The family moved to Schoensee because of the war and revolution. In 1921 MCC brought aid for their survival. She accepted Jesus as her Saviour at 14 and was baptized 1 year later. In 1925 the family immigrated to Canada, but she was detained in England because of an eye disease. She was able to arrive in Canada a year-and-a-half later. She worked on a farm and then in a woollen mill in Preston, Ont. Later she sewed draperies in her home. She joined Kitchener (Ont.) MB Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. She read, particularly her Bible. In 1986 she moved to Kitchener, and in 1995 to St. Catharines Tabor Manor Apartments. She lovingly cared for her sister Anna. She is mourned by Anna, nieces and nephews. The funeral was in Scott St. MB Church, St. Catharines.
