PETER J. REMPEL

Peter J. Rempel died July 30. He was born Feb. 3, 1930 to Johann and Agnetha Rempel near Birtle, Man. The family moved to Arnold, B.C. in 1941. He committed his life to Christ at 16. He married Frieda Ewert in July 1952. He worked at a nickel plate mine in Hedley, B.C., then as an accountant for Surrey Co-op in Cloverdale, B.C. and Ritchie Smith Feeds in Abbotsford, B.C. Frieda died in March 2003. He married Ruby Massier in Jan. 2004. He re- tired early and did volunteer work with MCC, Abbotsford Gleaners and Haggai Institute in Maui. He was an active member of Bakerview MB Church, Abbotsford. Predeceased by Frieda and 1 brother, he is mourned by Ruby, daughter Sandra Graham; son Darrell; 4 grandchildren; 5 brothers; 5 sisters; Ruby's 4 children and their children. The funeral was Aug. 5 in Bakerview MB Church.
