Buhler, Kan.  &#8212;  Pete Shellenberger, 66, retired principal of the Buhler Grade School and a resident here for 39 years, died June 10 at his home after a brief illness.
Mr. Schellenberger [''sic'' Shellenberger] held a master's degree from Wichita State University, and was named Kansas Master Teacher in 1957.
Surviving in the immediate family are his widow, the former Mabel Deschner of Newton; a son, Robert, of Galesburg, Ill.; four daughters, Mrs. Elaine Schmidt of Greeley, Colo., Mrs. Mariellen Griffith of Indianapolis, Miss Maribeth of Denver, and Mrs. Joyce Thiessen of College Park, Md.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday forenoon at the Buhler Grade School, with Dr. D. C. Wedel and Rev. Nick Rempel officiating.

Death Claims Retired Educator of Buhler

Buhler, Kan. — Pete Shellenberger, 66, retired principal of the Buhler Grade School and a resident here for 39 years, died June 10 at his home after a brief illness.

Mr. Schellenberger [sic Shellenberger] held a master's degree from Wichita State University, and was named Kansas Master Teacher in 1957.
