• Funeral services for Peter P. Schrag, 94, pioneer farmer of the Moundridge community who later moved to Pretty Prairie with his family, were held Sunday afternoon at the Pretty Prairie First Mennonite Church, with Rev. Peter Voran, pastor of the church, in charge. Mr. Schrag died June 1 at Prairie Sunset Home for Aged in Pretty Prairie, where he had been a resident for the past several years. On June 18, 1902, he was married to Elizabeth Stucky, who died in 1903. On June 20, 1909, he was married to Rosina Schrag who was his life companion until her death on Nov. 3, 1967. Also preceding him in death were one son who died at age 15, two daughters and two sons who died in infancy. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Waldo M. and Elma Rutschman Schrag, and two grandsons, Elwyn and family of Canton, Ohio and Marlin of Wichita. | |||
