Ida Elizabeth Kauffman, daughter of S. J. and Sadie (Mast) Kauffman, was born on Oct. 30, 1893 near Benton in Holmes County, Ohio. She died on April 8, 1972 at the Springview Manor of Conway Springs, Kan. after a long illness. | |||
She was married to Christian Lee Naffziger on Nov. 17, 1920 at Benton, Ohio. Surviving are three children, Nina and Weldon Roupp of Hubbard, Ore., Naomi and Albert Weaver Jr. of Newton, Kan., and Robert and Kathryn Naffziger of Harper, Kan.; nine grandchildren; four sisters, Verna and Ruth Kauffman of Millersburg, Ohio, Naomi Hershberger of Walnut Creek, Ohio, and Esther Troyer of Sturgis, Mich.; and two brothers, Mast and Fred Kauffman of Millersburg. Ohio. | |||
Preceding her in death were husband, two sisters, one brother, and one grandson. | |||
She was baptized and became a member of the Martins Creek Mennonite Church, Millersburg, Ohio. She later transferred to the Crystal Springs Mennonite Church near Crystal Springs, Kan. where memorial services were held April 11 in charge of Earl Buckwalter. Burial was made in adjoining cemetery. | |||
