Victim of shooting At Sarasota, Fla.

Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services were held April 6 at the Riverview Conservative Mennonite Church, White Pigeon, Mich., for Floyd Garver, 25, who was the victim of a shooting in Sarasota, Fla.

It was reported here that Mr. Garver and his wife of one day, Mrs. Eugenia Garver, 39, were shot to death in their apartment late Friday night, March 31. The assailant was Charles G. Burnette, 36, who then committed suicide. He was the former husband of Mrs. Garver.

Mr. and Mrs. Garver were both employed at Sarasota General Hospital. He was the son of Mrs. Amelia Garver of Shipshewana and Edward Garver of Dallas, Ore.
