PETER HENRY WALDE

Peter Henry Walde died Dec. 19. He was born Nov. 11, 1916 in Ukraine. He immigrated to Rosthern, Sask. in 1926 and later moved to Rosemary, Alta. He farmed here until 1946. He married Tena Harder Oct. 29, 1938. They moved to Chilliwack, B.C in 1946. He was a poultry farmer and served as director and president of East Chilliwack Co-op. He enjoyed travelling and gardening, sharing his produce with friends. He was a charter member of Broadway MB Church and was an encouragement to all. He loved his family. Predeceased by 1 brother, 2 sisters and 1 great-grandchild, he is mourned by Tena, daughter Doris Wiebe; son Rudy; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters . The funeral was Dec. 23 in Broadway MB Church.
