HAROLD DYCK

Harold Dyck died Feb. 28. He was born Nov. 16, 1935 to David and Katie Dyck. He grew up on the family farm in Newton, Man. He became a Christian at an early age. He attended Winkler Bible School. He earned a Registered Psychiatric Nursing degree from Manitoba School, Portage la Prairie, Man. in 1957. In 1963 he married Jane Zdan. They farmed at Oakville. He also was a psychiatric nurse, drove school bus and earned a pilot's license. In 1979 they moved to Abbotsford where they farmed and he built houses. He was diagnosed with MS in 1988 and confined to a motorized scooter. He witnessed where he could. He attended Central Heights Church, then Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church. He is mourned by Jane; son Randy; daughters Bethany Heppner and Leslie; grandchildren; 3 brothers; 2 sisters. The funeral was Mar. 4 in Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church.
