— Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth V. Koehn, 77, of Halstead were held Monday forenoon at the Grace Mennonite Church near there, with Rev. Kenneth Smith and Rev. Carl Dirks in charge. Mrs. Koehn died Sept. 16 at the Halstead Hospital. She was the widow of Cornelius C. Koehn, who died in 1956. Surviving are a son, Dale A. of Newton; five daughters, Mrs. Cornelia Cotton of Independence, Mrs. Vivian Roberts of Macksville, Mrs. Lucille Jantz and Mrs. Vada Crain of Halstead, and Mrs. Joyce Dent of Newton; seven brothers, Daniel and Adam Schmidt of Montezuma, Nathan and Abe Schmidt of Halstead, Norman Schmidt of Ingalls, Melvin Schmidt of Rich Hill, Mo., and Lewellyn Schmidt of Newton; eight sisters, Lydia Schmidt, Bernetta Schmidt, Mrs. Katherine Buller, Mrs. Lorene Koehn and Mrs. Osie Koehn, all of Halstead, Mrs. Eva Jantz of La Junta, Colo., Mrs. June Becker of Rich Hill, and Mrs. Alma Yost of Wilmore; 28 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. | |||
